Heightscream had a great at the Jesuit High School Prom. Kudos to the staff at Jesuit for scheduling an outdoor prom for the juniors and seniors. The weather was great, we supplied the ice cream and treats and the students looked amazing. Everyone was so very happy to have this one tradition in the midst of COVID. Thank you staff for making this happen and thank you students for vaccinating.
We had a great time visiting mom and dad. We think the contagious smile and happy attitude reminds us of our little ice cream venture. Everyday is new and every event is a time to bring a little happiness and joy. Of course we had ice cream for desert and it was great.
Welcoming our niece to Heightscream and the first time having a popsicle. Little Aria is absolutely adorable and super fun and loves the popsicle. Based on this interview, we have added Aria to our team as the newest junior member in training for Heightscream. We think she will really bond to the younger generation.
Spring 2021 is here and Tilly is ready for the start of nice weather and the enjoyment of ice cream. A few updates- Tilly has nice new steering system with Tie Rods and other things that our chief mechanic Mike was able to find (brand new), it has a new battery for the freezers (we go green and not use generators), plexiglass as needed, masks and gloves and classic ice cream songs. She looks greats, runs great and ready for the year and brings happiness to a very crazy year. We know. Most importantly there are new bomb pop flavors. Heightscream lives in Portland and supports BLM. Tilly was seen on twitter driving downtown in support of BLM. Free ice cream was given out and individuals were very respectful and non-violent. It was probably the first protest for Tilly in the last 34 years but won’t be the last. She did very well, cruised around, gave out ice cream and was on twitter. Nice picture downtown.
We just returned from the best community party ever!! It was hosted by neighbor Breylan Deal-Eriksen. It was held in the city of Maywood Park which is a beautiful area in metro Portland and attended by at least 100 friendly neighbors!! Kudos to Breylan for bringing the community together over ice cream.
The handmade Ruby Jewels were a big hit followed closely by Choco Tacos, Sonic and Sponge Bobs. Everyone wore a mask. Thank you Breylan!!
